Administrative Co-ordinator

United Voice, NSW Branch is looking for a full-time Administrative Co-ordinator to join our administrative team.

About the Role
The Administrative Co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating all of the administrative functions of the Branch, including managing the Administrative team and generally all round office management. The Administrative Co-ordinator will also be required to provide membership and data analysis; and support to the Executive and Senior Officials of the Branch.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing, co-ordinating and supervising the work of the Administrative Team;
• Membership and data analysis;
• Preparation for Branch Executive and Council Meetings, including notices, minutes and other papers required for the meetings; and maintenance of a register of all officeholders.
• Co-ordinating travel for officials and delegates;
• Managing Right of Entry application and employer release processes;
• Co-ordinating projects such as recruitment, functions, and delegates’ training and conferences.
• Assist staff with operation of computer equipment, video conferencing and teleconferencing.
• Liaising with building management; contractors; and other suppliers and service providers.


To be successful for this position candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
• Proven experience as a senior administrative officer;
• Experience in managing a team is desirable but not essential;
• High level of computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office;
• Experience with membership databases, reporting and analysis
• Excellent Organisational Skills;
• Enthusiastic, proactive and can respond to conflicting deadlines;
• Deliver a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
• Commitment to union values
