This Thursday, August 7th, marks seven weeks since building and construction company Ausreo began a lock out of 24 AMWU members in Southwest Sydney.

Why? Well when the current workplace agreement ended in February, workers — many of whom have worked there for more than 7 years — had made reasonable requests for fairer long service leave, greater job security and pay equal to Ausreo’s Melbourne staff, which Ausreo management called “not sustainable.”

This fight is much bigger than just Ausreo, its also about the signal it sends to other employers as well.

How will you show these workers, they can count on your support?

I’ll rally in solidarity with locked out Ausreo workers on Thursday!

I’ll chip in to help support AMWU members and their families in their fight for workplace fairness!

Stand in solidarity with locked out workers!
