Build A Better Future Macquarie and Lindsay: End of Year Battle Briefing

In Malcolm Turnbull we have a new Prime Minister and yet, as Tony Abbott reminded listeners in his radio interview with Ray Hadley, "no policy has changed". That means that Medicare is still under attack, weekend penalty rates are still on the chopping block, health and education cuts remain, the stench of the Howard-era WorkChoices legislation lingers, and we still have a dud trade agreement with China which threatens the future of local jobs, wages, and conditions.

It is time to assemble the troops and formulate an end of year battle plan.

What would we do if Malcolm Turnbull tried to capitalise on his sugar-hit of popularity by going to an early election, either this year or in March of 2016?

How would we persuade the thousands of undecided union members in the Federal electorates of Macquarie and Lindsay to make our issues number one if we had just 33 days in an election campaign?

To answer these questions and more, join us at the Springwood Sports Club on Saturday, October 17 (12:30 pm for a 1:00 pm start) where we will be sharing our collective knowledge and experience in order to be combat-ready. Feel free to bring others who share our values and desire to Build A Better Future and Fight For Our Living Standards.
