Manager Member Services

The Position

  • Ensure member engagement with the PSA via call centre and membership teams that provides a positive response and speedy action.
  • Manage resources, budgets, staffing and priorities and provide operational direction to meet PSA strategy
  • Ensure that staffing, systems, infrastructure, processes and work practices are in place to enable effective delivery of organising, recruitment, retention and industrial outcomes.
  • To be a constructive and collaborative member of the PSA’s Leadership Team and actively encourage staff to grow and learn.

Essential Criteria

Demonstrated ability or experience in:

  • Contemporary call centre and membership systems in the union movement.
  • Managing and developing staff in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Providing timely, authoritative advice on industrial, organising and campaigning issues (individual and collective) that impact across the PSA.
  • Deep commitment to Union principles.
