 This job is located in NSW

The role involves working with members and workplace leaders on a campaign that builds the strength of the union and delivers good industrial outcomes.  The tasks involved include mapping, working to organising plans, developing workplace reps, building sustainable organising structures and recruiting new members. 

The successful applicant will have:

•             Demonstrated commitment to trade union values

•             Previous experience working on campaigns either in a community, political or union setting

•             Excellent communication skills

•             Demonstrated ability to work with and influence people

•             Ability to work with leaders, reps and members to develop their skills and confidence

•             Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise work

•             Some knowledge of the federal industrial relations system and collective bargaining

•             Computer literacy and keyboard skills

•             Current driver’s licence

The salary is negotiable depending on your particular mix of skills, experience and qualifications.

The successful applicant will need to enjoy working as part of a team.
