Following a restructure in our Branch we have created an exciting new team in our Sydney Office and we have two Organiser positions available.  One is a generalist Organiser role and the other is a Digital/Communications Organiser role.   

Both roles will be an integral part of a new, small, dedicated team of energetic and driven professionals at our offices in the heart of the Sydney CBD.


Digital/Communications Organiser

This role is an opportunity for someone with experience in online campaigns. The successful candidate will be an organised and creative digital content designer, writer and campaigner, or an organiser with strong digital skills, who can help Professionals Australia deliver our ambitious digital strategy for members in our NSW Branch. 

The role involves supporting and co-developing digital campaign strategies for Professionals Australia’s NSW Branch and recruiting new members and activists to the Association.

It will also involve working with our industrial and organising team to design and write action bulletins, create web page content and build and maintain our social media presence to mobilise and build membership



This role is an opportunity for someone with experience in union organising.  The successful candidate will be an organised and motivated individual working in a team of organisers to help Professionals Australia deliver our ambitious membership growth targets for our NSW Branch. 

The role involves working with members and workplace leaders to plan and implement campaigns that build the strength of the union and deliver good industrial outcomes.  The focus of the role will be will generally be in the transport industry however you will also have the opportunity to work across other industries such as power, water and local government.  Our members in these industries are predominately engineers and scientists that undertake key infrastructure work.
