Work Choices Special Edition Economic and Labour Relations Review
By Braham Dabscheck Guest editor
This special issue of the Economic and Labour Relations Review is devoted to an examination of the Workplace Relations Amendment (Work Choices) Act 2005(Cth).
It is guest-edited by Braham Dabscheck and contains articles by 13 eminent academics working in fields such as labour law, labour economics and industrial relations. Many of the contributors argue that, contrary to popular opinion, Work Choices does not mean deregulation but a shift from an independent umpire to executive and political regulation of workplace relationships. This special issue provides an excellent insight into the new employment relations climate for all, employers, employees and unions.
