  •          The position is located in our city office in Sydney
  •          Salary Range $101,537 to $120,785
  •          Senior leadership role

 

Applications are sought for the position of Manager Energy, Utilities and Private Sector (EUP).

 

The role requires somebody able to lead, direct and co-ordinate multiple teams into one cohesive effective operation.

 

You will work under the direction of the General Secretary.

Applicants must possess the following skills:

Essential

  • A high level of business acumen and superior communication skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels of industry
  • Extensive experience in a Senior Leadership Role preferably in the  Union
  • Extensive knowledge of awards and Fair Work Commission including the Fair Work Act 2009; and, the NSW Industrial Relations Commission
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of Trade Unionism
  • Proven success utilising technology and processes to create a competitive advantage; including social media skills
  • Experience managing multiple teams
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit senior management team
  • A strong desire to develop a genuine partnership with stakeholders exceeding  expectations
  • RTA class C drivers licence
  • An understanding of the Union’s structure, rules and influences, including internal and external forces
  • An appreciation of the political and social context in which the Union operates
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and develop strategies
  • Excellent Communications skills
  • Excellent time management skills

 

 

 

Desirable

Tertiary / Post Graduate studies in Management

Workplace Assessors Certificate
