Digital Campaigner 20160926

The Australian Workers' Union is looking for a digital campaigner - someone who with a proven track record of successful online campaigns, and most importantly, someone who is committed to social justice.


To thrive in this job you'll need to be socially aware and on top of the news of the day. You are a creative and unconventional thinker with a capacity to work autonomously or as part of a team and your online campaigns stand out from the rest of the crowd.


Your skills mean you are equally adept at shooting and cutting short campaign videos, coming up with and designing memes or writing a snappy email that encourages people to take action.


As part of your role, you will oversee web design and builds, manage our social media presence and crunch the data that measures the successes of our campaigns.


You are highly motivated to succeed and can contribute meaningfully to strategy sessions.


You'll need to think deeply about the issues that matter to AWU members and have a strong commitment to ensuring our members get the pay, conditions, safety and respect that they deserve.


The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an experienced campaigner, a proven project manager and a talented writer. You are someone who knows how to win a campaign.


Experience using Adobe creative suite, NationBuilder and Facebook Ads Manager will be considered favourably.



SALARY: $65-75,000 + super and accessories.
