Unions NSW sends our heartfelt support to everyone at the candlelight vigil for Linda Locke.

The fact that Linda is the 34th woman to die this year as a result of domestic and family violence is a horrifying statistic.

Unions NSW is proud to be part of the campaign to put an end to domestic and family violence.

We will continue to support initiatives like this vigil, White Ribbon and paid domestic violence leave, which provides practical support to women experiencing violence at home to allow them to maintain their economic independence.

Unions NSW commends the organisers of this vigil for highlighting the prevalence of domestic and family violence across Australian communities.
