Women in the workforce: Why it's a union issue

Please join us for the next Sydney Financial Forum address by
Ged Kearney, ACTU President

"Women in the workforce: Why it's a union issue."

The role of women in the workforce has changed over the last 50 years. Increasing women's participation, ending the gender pay gap, securing better retirement outcomes, addressing the need for flexible return to work arrangements, providing support to women living with domestic violence and facilitating career opportunities are all a key part of what unions are working towards. Ged will address how the ACTU is working to overcome the challenges in these areas and the role unions play in progressing women in the workplace.

The event will provide an exclusive setting to hear from Ged and the opportunity to ask questions directly.

This is a free forum. For any queries, please contact Stacey Hynes at rsvp@sydneyfinancialforum.com.au

The Sydney Financial Forum is delivered in partnership with Colonial First State Global Asset Management.
